Hawzah News Agency- Receiving an assembly delegation at the Council’s headquarters on Airport Road, Sheikh al-Khatib underlined the Assembly’s important role in safeguarding Islamic heritage and reinforcing unity across nations.
The visiting delegation, which included Hojatoleslam Muhammad Ali Moinian, Assistant for International Affairs, Hojatoleslam Imamzadeh, Director of Arab and African Affairs, and Sheikh Mohsen al-Nakhaei, the Assembly’s representative in Lebanon, briefed the council on current activities and future projects, as well as regional developments.
Sheikh al-Khatib stressed that Lebanon had endured a dangerous phase following the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din, and other resistance leaders, who had inspired steadfast confrontation with the enemy. “Despite devastation and heavy losses, the enemy’s attempts to weaken us have failed, thanks to the legendary resilience of the resistance, the strength of its position, and the unity of its environment,” he affirmed.
